Hands on Massage & Manual Therapy Techniques with Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation for Aches, Pains and Injuries in Dover, Kent.

Helping you Move Better, Feel Better & Hurt Less -

so you can get back to doing the things you love.

Hello, I'm Michael, welcome to my website. I'm an experienced soft tissue therapist, sports and remedial massage therapist, helping people with aches pains and injuries from my clinic in Dover, convenient for the towns of Folkestone, Walmer, Deal, Sandwich and Canterbury in Kent.

My service goes far beyond massage or manual therapy; I assess, treat and rehabilitate minor and chronic injuries and persistent pain whether it be lifestyle or sports related pain and injury, using a wide range of techniques. This could include massage therapy, manual therapy, joint mobilisation, sports and remedial massage, deep tissue massage, rehabilitation exercises, functional neurology, movement, mobility, dietary advice, help with balance and much more.

Your initial assessment will involve a range of movement, muscle, joint and nerve tests with a combination of hands-on massage techniques, so we can formulate a treatment plan together that puts you in charge of your recovery. Whatever you are suffering with, be it: back pain, neck pain or shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, headaches or migraines, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, tendinopathy, sciatic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, sports injury or something else, I can help.

Providing bespoke support to help with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, along with recovery from injury or surgery and related medical conditions. You might just want to move and feel better or be an athlete looking for support with training, strength & performance. You may also simply need a place to relax and enjoy the wonderful feeling that a massage gives! No matter what issue you have, big or small, I'll make sure you get the help you need.

My massage, pain and injury clinic is located on London Road in Dover, not far from the Town centre and easily accessible from Folkestone, Walmer, Deal, Sandwich and Canterbury.

Treatments

Soft tissue therapy involves assessing, treating and then managing certain muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves that are causing you issues, using the latest clinical evidence based information to get you back to doing the things you enjoy. It is a holistic, person centred approach, used to treat any pains, injuries or dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system, with each assessment culminating in me putting forward a unique treatment plan for you, which could include any of the below treatments among others:
